What's the Work?[]
Angel Hare is an Analog Horror series made by the East Patch. It follows Jonah Whitman as he tries to find his old friend, Angel Gabby and resurfaces past memories.
Who is He?[]
Zagzagel, also known as Detective Zag Wylde, is the deuteragonist of Angel Hare in season 2 and the tritagonist of the show overall.
What Makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]
- Heroic: Saved many damsels in distress prior to Angel Hare and helped Jonah find Gabby.
- Cynical: When meeting Jonah for the first time, Zag was unwilling to trust him and was implied to have kept some information from him.
- Stoic: Often puts on a serious face when talking to other people.
- Insightful: Is a detective whose experience with solving cases was important in finding Gabby.
- Pessimistic: Detective Zag is opposed to Gabby's ideals on the importance of faith and hope while not fully agreeing with her teaching methods.
- Realistic: Zag is more logical as a result of his detective experience.
- Reckless: Early in his career, he got roughed up by a gang before meeting Francine.
- Has Trust Issues: As stated before, Zag had a hard time trusting Jonah and was reluctant to call upon him for help.
Verdict[]
Firm Yes. Despite Jonah's initial animosity with Zag, they have more in common then they would've like to believe.
