Tommy Egan is one of the main protagonists of the Power Universe, being the deuteragonist of Power, a minor character in Power Book II: Ghost and the main protagonist of Power Book IV: Force. He is portrayed by Joseph Sikora.
What Makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]
- Anti-Heroic: Tommy saves his long-lost nephew D-Mac by taking him to the hospital when the latter gets shot by a rival gang.
- Cynical: Tommy is rather distrustful of Angela and thinks she is taking advantage of Ghost's feelings for her.
- Apathetic: Unless it involves someone he cares about, Tommy doesn't care about the lives he took.
- Insightful: Tommy advises Tariq to choose to live as either a civilian or a gangster because living as both wouldn't work.
- Realistic: Tommy doesn't care about living life as a civilian and is content with being a gangster.
- Strong Sense of Willpower: Despite losing his share of loved ones as a result of the life he chose, Tommy manages to stand tall and move forward.
- Has Anger Issues: Tommy is very prone to angry outbursts and violence.
- Has Killer Instinct: Given his lifestyle as a gangster, Tommy has no issues with murdering his enemies.
- Has Bloodlust: Unlike Ghost, Tommy occasionally takes pleasure in torturing his enemies.
- Vengeful: Tommy wants to seek revenge on Ghost for killing LaKeisha, not knowing it was actually Tasha who did it. This led to the point of wanting to kill Ghost, only to kill Angela when she attempts to save him.
