Hanzo Hasashi, better known as Scorpion is one of the main protagonists of the Mortal Kombat franchise and the mascot of the series.
What makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Anti-Heroic: He chooses to protect Earthrealm from villains from other realms by brutally battling them to death. He also successfully goes, avenging his family by killing Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat X.
- Stoic: Being reborn as a vengeful wraith, the only emotion he feels is anger, as he only wants vengeance.
- Sophisticated/Mature: He is very mature warrior, who never leaves his goals unfinished.
- Pessimistic: He doesn't believe in any cheerful things, as he thinks the war is inevitable.
- Realistic: He has a realistic view on life and doesn't live for empty ideologies.
- Strong Sense of Willpower: He never abandons his goal, even if he faces enemies stronger than him.
- Has Anger Issues: He is a wrathful wraith, who only wants vengeance.
- Vengeful: He wants a revenge on Quan Chi for killing his family and Shirai Ryu clan.
- Tragic Past: He lost his family and clan at the hands of Quan Chi and was killed by Bi-Han, the person, who was framed in killing them.
- Has Bloodlust: While fighting with enemies, he brutally kills every his opponent.
- Hard-Boiled: Being a wrathful and vengeful wraith, he can't express any other emotion.
