Musashi Miyamoto is the titular main protagonist of the 2002 adventure and action manga series, Vagabond by Inoue Takehiko.

What Makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]

Anti-Heroic: Musashi has saved countless lives throughout the series, even though most of his heroics are for personal fulfillment.
Apathetic: Musashi rarely shows concern for the circumstances of others unless it benefits him in terms of his abilities.
Stoical: Musashi usually keeps his emotions to himself, especially during battle.
Sophisticated/Mature: Musashi is a gentleman outside of battle and behaves in a rather mature manner.
Insightful: As he gains more experience as a samurai and grows as a person, Musashi reflects on how he will be content with his life once he becomes the most unbeatable samurai.
Realistic: Musashi doesn't seem to be care about living his life by meaningless ideologies and instead tries to make the best of his life.
Has Killer Instinct: Musashi has no issue with killing his opponents.
