Maki Harukawa is a character in the video game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, titled the Ultimate Assassin.

In the original Japanese version, she was voiced by Maaya Sakamoto and in the English dub she was voiced by Erica Mendez.

What Makes Her A Seinen Hero?[]

Heroic: Maki played a heroic role in the game and in fact was willing to sacrifice herself for Himiko Yumeno and Shuichi Saihara to live.
Cynical: Maki showed doubt in Kaede Akamatsu’s idea of killing the mastermind to end the killing game and didn’t really trust her.
Apathetic: She was shown to be fine touching a dead body in the third chapter.
Stoical: Throughout the game, Maki displays little emotion.
Pessimistic: She was shown to be rather pessimistic throughout the game.
Has Trust Issues: Especially in the first two chapters, Maki was shown not to be trustful of the other students.
Has Anger Issues: She lashed out on Kokichi Oma in the second chapter and she had some hostile moments in the fifth class trial.
Tragic Past: Like a majority of the danganronpa cast, her past is tragic. She had to work for a cult (which was torture to her) in order to keep the orphanage funded and she lost her childhood friend.
Has A Killer Instinct: She threatened several characters if they wished to die several times.
Hard-Boiled: Her heart became cold due to her experience as an assassin.
Vengeful: She was willing to kill Kokichi Oma for revealing her talent.
Has black hair: Her hair is black
Wears black and red: Her uniform is red and black
