What Makes Them a Seinen Hero?[]

  • Heroic: Jonah was willing to have his memory erased by Gabby in order to allow her to help the internet and eventually helped Gabby with his experience of the internet, starting up Wreath of Life again.
  • Cynical: For most of season 2 until the finale, Jonah was highly suspicious of Angel Zaggy and was only willing to call upon his help as a last resort to find Gabby.
  • Stoical: With the exception of his interactions with Gabby, Jonah doesn't often display much emotion, especially since his face is rarely shown.
  • Insightful: His experience with streaming and the internet as a whole enabled him to not only find Gabby twice but also help her adapt to the new challenges of supporting the internet.
  • Strong Sense of Willpower: A constant and notable trait of Jonah was his willingness to help his friends. After rediscovering the tapes, he spent months to find Gabby and was willing to do it again. As noted by the Angel Hare character quiz, Jonah's dedication outlasts all obstacles and if there is a solution, he will find it.
  • Tragic Past: Before meeting Gabby, Jonah was heavily abused by his evil father who emotionally broke him until Jonah discovered the tapes of Angel Hare and met Gabby, who taught him techniques to endure the abuse.
  • Vengeful: In "Little White Alibis", it is implied that Jonah asked Angel Gabby to get rid of his abusive father, causing his presumed death.
