James St. Patrick, aka Ghost, is one of the main protagonists of the Power Universe, being the main protagonist of Power and the posthumous overarching protagonist of Power Book II: Ghost. He is portrayed by Omari Hendrick.
What Makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]
- Anti-Heroic: Ghost has saved his son Tariq from Kanan and Jukebox when Tariq gets kidnapped by them.
- Apathetic: Ghost rarely feels remorseful about killing his enemies.
- Stoical: Ghost usually remains in control of his emotions regardless of the situations.
- Insightful: Ghost consistently lectures Tariq about the dangers of the street life despite it being null and void for the latter due to being corrupted by Kanan's influence.
- Sophisicated/Mature: In contrast to Tommy who is impulsive, violent and temperamental, James approaches to situations in a diplomatic manner.
- Strong Sense of Willpower: Regardless of his hardships and failures, Ghost refuses to give up on creating a better life for himself and his family.
- Has Killer Instinct: Given that he has been a drug dealer ever since he was a teenager, Ghost never hesitates to kill his enemies.
- Lustful: After reuniting with his high school girlfriend Angela Valdez, Ghost begins to have relations with her, cheating on his wife Tasha in the process.
- Tragic Past: Sometime after he and Tommy were taken under Kanan's guidance as teenage street hustlers, Ghost's father Curtis was killed by a gang of drug dealers, leading to Ghost wanting to leave the street life after inheriting his father's night club as an adult.
- Vengeful: Ghost takes revenge on those who tried to kill or hurt his loved ones.
