What Makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Anti-Heroic: Huey has saved countless lives from Ed Wuncler, even if it is sometimes to find satisfaction within himself.
- Cynical: Huey is rather skeptical of people's hidden intentions.
- Stoical: Huey rarely expresses a wide range of emotions to others, usually resorting to frowning and scowling.
- Apathetic: After realizing he cannot save everyone and instead let them learn lessons on their own the hard way, Huey gave up on trying to make the world acknowledge the truth.
- Insightful: Huey is incredibly wise for his age and consistently reflects on the ways of the world.
- Sophisticated/Mature: Despite being 10 years old, Huey is highly intelligent, well-educated and has never been shown to be immature.
- Pessimistic: Huey is extremely doubtful about the ways of the world changing for the better due to the ignorance of most people around him.
- Realistic: Huey acknowledges things as they are and doesn't ignore the truth behind them.
- Hard-Boiled: Huey rarely gets overly emotional about any circumstances he faces, regardless of how alarming or disturbing it is.
