Blitzo Buckzo, commonly refered as just Blitzø (pronounced Blitz, according to him) is the main protagonist of Helluva Boss, a dark comedy webseries created by Vivienne Medrano, which serves as a spin-off to her other series Hazbin Hotel. He's voiced by Brandon Rogers.
What Makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Anti-Heroic: Despite being an assassin, and a non-hero for most of the show, Blitzo has his share of genuine heroic moments, such as rescuing Fizzarolli from being burned alive in "Oops", protecting Stolas from being killed by Striker in "The Harvest Moon Festival" or helping Millie to save Moxxie from Crimson in "Exes and Oh's".
- Cynical: Has absolutely no faith in people, and outright tells Moxxie that he's wrong about believing not everyone is bad, and that everyone is a parasite the moment they are born.
- Apathetic: Shows no regard towards lives and isn't fazed by collateral damage unless it involves someone he cares about.
- Pessimistic: Always expects the worst out of everything and shows to have a negative view about life due to his own depressive tendencies.
- Strong Sense of Willpower: Despite being just an imp (the lowest ranking in Hell's Hierarchy), Blitzo is determinated to make a name for himself with his killing business.
- Has Anger Issues: Loses his head pretty easily over frustrating moments (although it's mostly played for laughs).
- Has Killer Instinct: Pretty obvious due to his job involving killing people on a daily basis, just like with his anger issues it is mostly played for laughs.
- Has Bloodlust: While he isn't necessarily sadistic, Blitzo clearly enjoys his job. The episodes "Spring Broken" and "Truth Seekers" are the two most notable examples, as both feauture him killing several humans with a smile in his face.
- Lustful: And how. Being pansexual, Blitzo is willing to have sex with anyone regardless of gender and often cracks dirty jokes (to the point of even naming his two most powerful guns as "My Dick" and "Pussy Destroyer"). Two notable moments include regularly having sex with Stolas so he can use his Grimmoire book to go to Earth, and agreeing to have sex with Chazz simply out of curiosity has he had been with both Moxxie and Millie before.
- Tragic Past: He used to be a circus imp who was very unpopular with the audience, which resulted in him being neglected by his own father (who was even willing to sell him for 5 bucks). After causing an accident in the circus which led to his only friend (at the time) Fizzarolli getting severely injured and his mother dying in the proccess, he ended up quitting circus life and went to a path of murder.
- Has Trust Issues: Deep down he really hates himself and never forgave himself for the accident, as a result, Blitzo believes he will never be loved by someone and always pulls out whenever he gets closer to someone out of fear he will eventually get them hurt.
- Hard-Boiled: Very hard to scare, and usually manages to stay focused even in the most dire situations, including when he was being interrogated by the D.H.O.R.K.S in "Truth Seekers" or being kidnapped by Crimson in "Oops".
