Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, is the main protagonist of the 2022 live-action film The Batman.
What Makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Anti-Heroic: Bruce Wayne pursues to stop crimes in Gotham, including but not limited to the Riddle's Games.
- Insightful: After Batman helped the arrest of the Riddler and faced Gotham's flooding caused by Riddler's followers, Batman starts to feel that vengeance can't change the past, but hope could be what the city and its people need.
- Realistic: Batman shows little sign of believing ideologies could stop the crime of Gotham and he prepares for fighting against the crimes with his equipment and his skill. In the end of The Batman, Batman feels that hope could be what the Gotham City and its people need.
- Strong Sense of Willpower: Despite Batman's crusade against criminals in Gotham has caused him harmed and polices hunted for him, Batman does not let them bother his crusade.
- Reckless: Batman does not stop pursuing to stop crimes in Gotham, even he is and constantly in dangerous situations.
- Tragic Past: Bruce witnesses his parents killed by unnamed person when he was ten years old. The tragic past, along with advice from Alfred Pennyworth, motivates Bruce to accept extensive training and learning to be capable of stopping crime in Gotham.
- Vengeful: Batman initially could allow his anger to be lashed out when fighting against criminals and even tried killing them.
