What Makes Him a Seinen Hero?[]
- Heroic/Anti-Heroic: Bruce Wayne pursues to stop crimes in Gotham, previously acted as a member of the Justice League before Superman's fall to evil, and forms the Insurgency to overthrow the Regime leaded by Superman after Superman's fall to evil.
- Cynical: Because of Superman's fall to evil and the founding of the Regime, Batman becomes distrustful of the superheroes as some of them chooses to be in the Regime's side and some of his allies are killed. It is the arrival of Primary characters somewhat allowing him to trust superheroes to some extent.
- Insightful: Batman is shown to be insightful. For example, when Supergirl says that Superman has made his symbol invoke fear in people, Batman responds that its meaning depends on how the person wearing it acts.
- Strong Sense of Willpower: Despite the Insurgency's attempts to overthrow the Regime is difficult due to the strength of the Regime, Batman does not give up resisting to the Regime's rule.
- Tragic Past: Bruce's parents are killed when he was young, which motivates him to fight against crimes in Gotham.
- Has Trust Issues: Batman initially distrusts Flash, who defects from the Regime to the Insurgency, and initially rejects Primary Batman's idea of bringing Primary Superman to defeat Regime Superman.
