Afro Samurai is the titular main protagonist of the anime and manga series with the same name. He is voiced by Samuel L. Jackson.

- Lustful: Afro has had sex with his childhood friend Osturu.
- Reckless: Afro has a tendency of putting his own life in danger.
- Tragic Past: As a little boy, Afro witnessed his father being decapitated by Justice, which motivated him to seek revenge against him.
- Hard-Boiled: Due to how much trauma he has experienced from an early age, Afro is toughened to the point where he rarely gets phased by the most horrific scenes.
- Vengeful: His primary goal is to kill Justice for murdering his father when he was a little boy.
